Have you fallen victim to the internet marketing scam artists? Maybe your first reaction is that they don’t exist. In every sense of the words “Scam Artists” they exist in abundance.
Most of you are aware of the common internet scams
- The Pyramid Schemes
- Nigerian Money Transfer
- Internet Sales Scam
- Phishing
But I am speaking more specifically about the internet marketers who try to convince you to buy from them through a series of lies.
- Instant wealth (or the equivalent)
- Internet marketing is quick and easy
- Their product will do it all for you automatically
I could go on and on but you get the idea. Basically all they want to do is steal your money.
Dr. Mani recently had some interesting comments about internet hoaxes
The Great Infopreneur Hoax
It’s the great infopreneur hoax. And exposing it
will become your competitive edge! You see, you’ve fallen victim to a
massive hoax. A myth that has fooled thousands of eager information
marketers and led them astray. Lies that greedy sellers of ‘how to’
guides like to tell, so that you’ll just keep on buying more and more of
their stuff. But let’s cut through the BS – and talk about what
information marketing is really about.

Reading what Dr. Mani has to say is always a wise decision. In this case it can save you money and that is always a good thing.
Keep in mind that
Internet Marketing is not easy. It is hard work but worth it if you persevere.
Internet Marketing will not make you a millionaire in 6 weeks.
Become a smart internet marketer. Avoid the scam artist.

Hi Carol,
Some great tips there to keep people out of the clutches of those immoral ******.
I too fell victim to some of them, initially after searching on Google about making money, and being led, sometimes by a circuitous route, to one of these slick websites with the almost professional video, and of course, the $10 off when you try to leave the page.
Thanks to some great bloggers I have seen the light. It is a pity we can’t have a warning siren installed on those scamming websites,
All the best for 2012,
Barry
I like the idea of a warming siren.
